Alien By Satyajit Ray - Sweatshirt
About the design:
This sweatshirt is about a controversy that happened in the 1990s. Satyajit Ray's sci-fi screenplay "The Alien" was already a smash hit. When he took it to Hollywood, he couldn't get it to work. Later, one of the script's references was used by an American filmmaker to create the hit film "ET."
This piece carries the exact depiction of Satyajit Ray's sketches that were made by him back then while working on his script. This front design is simply hand-cut out and sewed, and at the back, the artists have created a hand-stitched sketch of the alien. This artwork takes time to complete because it is entirely handcrafted and can only be completed once per day.
It's more than just a sweatshirt; it's the substance of a creative writer's narrative.
