The Painter’s Handmade Jacket is a heartfelt tribute to the life of an artist, a vibrant embodiment of the chaos and colours that reside within an artist's mind. It beautifully captures the profound connection between the creative act and the creator. This exquisite piece undergoes an elaborate six-phase block printing process, each step a testament to the dedication and skill involved. Crafted from 100% Khadi Denim, it proudly hails from India and bears the distinctive touch of a fourth-generation artisan, Pramod Ji from Fatehpur. Handspun and handwoven with care, it then travels to Jaipur to be adorned with intricate handblock printing by another fourth-generation artisan, Hari Om Ji. Also, the creative director personally collaborated with skilled artisans for the complex yet creative journey where fabric was served like canvas. Through a meticulous process, it was both hand-painted and hand-block printed, transforming into a piece of wearable art. Thus, each jacket is a celebration of individuality, as no two are alike, with each bearing its distinct character and charm. The creation of this masterpiece is a labour-intensive process, with only 3 meters of fabric expertly handcrafted in a single day. In reverence to its exclusivity, we offer this exceptional jacket in limited quantities, with no plans for restocking.

How should I wash my Farak garments?
We recommend hand washing your garments
separately in cold water using a mild, chemical-free detergent. Avoid
bleach, soaking, or harsh scrubbing, especially for naturally dyed and
block-printed items.
Can I machine wash Farak clothing?
Since our pieces are handcrafted using delicate processes like handweaving and block printing, machine washing
is not recommended. Hand wash is the safest way to preserve the
integrity and detailing of the garment.
Will the color fade over time?
Some natural fading may occur, especially
with plant-based dyes. This is a normal and beautiful part of owning
handcrafted garments — they soften and evolve with every wear.
How should I dry the clothes?
Always dry your Farak pieces in the shade,
not under direct sunlight. This protects the fabric and colors from
fading prematurely. Lay flat or hang dry gently.
Can I iron my Farak clothes?
Yes, but use a low-heat setting. For
delicate fabrics, place a cotton cloth over the garment while ironing or
steam lightly from the reverse side.
