Mumtaz - Pant
About the design:
The Pant is a beloved piece of Farak as it is the epitome of story narration, drawing its inspiration from the poignant lines, "taj duniya ne dekha hai, Mumtaz ne nhi". It beautifully encapsulates the essence of this love story in its distressed fabric, which serves as a canvas for the passage of time and history. Adorned with lovingly crafted patches, including a hand-embroidered flower symbolizing love on the back and a blue patch reminiscent of the Taj Mahal's silhouette, the jacket is a testament to the enduring love story of Shah Jahan and Mumtaz.
Crafted entirely from 100% Khadi cotton, this masterpiece is proudly made in India. The intricate patches are meticulously hand-block printed by the skilled hands of Hari Om Ji, a fourth-generation artisan from Jaipur. Further enhancing its charm, delicate hand-embroidered details are meticulously added by Moshraf Bhai, also from Jaipur. The jacket also features hand-screen printed elements and digital patches, making it a true work of art.
Each jacket is a unique creation, celebrating individuality and showcasing the distinct character of the piece. In recognition of its exclusivity, we produce this jacket in limited quantities, with no plans for restocking. It is a tribute to the enduring love story of Shah Jahan and Mumtaz, a story cherished by all, yet a sight unseen by the very person it was built for.
